About Zorro
Introducing our dashing masked avenger Zorro. Zorro is a large 2.5 year old Alaskan Malamute boy who loves his people - he wants to be near you and thrives on your attention.
Zorro enjoys meeting new people - he is a charmer who hands out kisses and cuddles to win over his new friends. He may suit a family with older kids, he has lived with toddlers previously and can act quite puppy-like himself. He has lived in an apartment so he is toilet trained and quite well mannered inside. We would like to see him live in a home with a yard so that he can laze around and be able to play in the fresh air. He needs to be allowed inside with his family when they are at home.
Zorro is good with smaller dogs and bossy with dogs larger than he is. He isn't a fan of many large dogs and will need some further training and positive socialisation with his new family. He has made friends with a large female Malamute in foster care and will play with her. He might make a good addition to a couple or family without any other pets , or one with a smaller dog who is confident with large dogs. With a proper introduction he may also suit a family with an existing female arctic as a canine playmate. Zorro will chase cats so he will best suit a home without cats, chickens or pocket pets.
Zorro enjoys his walks and walks nicely on lead. He's a big boy but doesn't pull much which makes for a pleasant walk. He's a cuddly and fluffy teddy bear who will turn heads wherever he goes. He loves chew toys and would enjoy some strong treat balls or bones to chomp on during the day. He's like a bower bird - collecting all his toys (especially the squeaky ones) and piling them at his feet!
Zorro is a handsome and adorable chap who is very people focused - so if you want to find out more please contact us about Zorro our masked crusader.
