About Mala *On Hold Deposit Paid
Mala is the most beautiful silver tabby you have ever seen, with eyes that are bright amber. Her coat is soft like velvet and she is superbly healthy. Imagine what she'll look like as an adult!
Her personality is lovely - she plays & romps around with her sister and all the other cats and is very friendly to her humans.
Mala is also accustomed to living with two friendly dogs and would love to have cat or dog company in her adoptive home but a lot of attention from her humans would be ok too.
Mala and her sister Dahl (also listed) both have these amazing silver tabby coats; absolutely gorgeous!
If you want two kittens she ìs best mates with her other stunning sister Stella, also listed, who is in some of these pictures.
Mala will be spayed when she has an interested person wanting to adopt her.
If you are interested in Mala you're welcome to apply to adopt her, meet her & put down a deposit to keep her until she's ready to go.
For her safety and your own peace of mind Mala should be an indoor-only cat, although a secure cat enclosure would be a wonderful bonus for her. But an enriched household (with cat towers, scratchers & plenty of toys), some good window seats & views of outside perhaps with a screen door or window to look through & sniff the breeze, and lots of attention should be adequate.
Located in Carabooda.
Medical notes
Mala is very healthy, being fed the most nourishing diet available to make her develop to her fullest potential. She has been wormed, de-flea'd, microchipped, had both vaccinations and will be sterilised before adoption.
Adoption details
When you see the picture, read the profile & think "This is the one!" I want to hear from you! Please message me with your email address so I can send you an application form. Although it's important for these adoptees to find their forever homes asap, there will be an informal interview process to see if you both match. This is the difference between adopting & buying and it serves the really important purpose of keeping you together for life. All family members will be included in the adoption process. Everyone counts.
1. Message me.
2. I send you an Application form via email.
3. I will phone you.
4. Meet & greet.
5. 2 week (or more) trial adoption.
6. You have a new family member!
The adoption fee shown on each listing mainly covers the cost of the vetwork needed before adoption & it allows rescue continuity. It is seriously much cheaper to adopt from a rescue than to get a "Free to good home" & organise all the vetwork yourself.
Once it's been decided that you will trial your possible family member, you will complete the adoption form, pay the fee & take him/her home to see for sure that the fit is right. The settling in process can take some time or it may be almost instant. If after a while (around 2 weeks) it becomes apparant that the chemistry just isn't there, the animal can be returned for a full refund. Please be aware that this is not a failure for either you or the adoptee. It simply didn't work & there is no blame.
If the adoption goes ahead but some unforseen circumstance rises in the future, near or far, where you must be separated, your pet MUST be returned to PRAAS; not rehomed by yourself. We have rescued that animal & we need to know that he/she is safe for the rest of its life. It may be that you have a wonderful next home to move them to, in which case please let us know.
If the animal is returned to us at this later stage there is no refund.
