Jake may have started life on the back foot as a runt, but his size and hearing impairment are eclipsed by his determination and bravery.
Jake is looking for a family with experience raising a deaf dog and at just 12 weeks of age he still has a lot of growing to do. His needs are special but his love is fierce and it will melt your heart.
Apart from a knowledgable adopter who can continue training Jakey sign language (he has learnt a few signs already) he has some special requests for his forever family.
Dogs, dogs, dogs of any size. Jake is a Catahoula/Bull Arab blend and will potentially grow to a decent size.
A family member must be home for a large amount of the time, as he frets when alone. Poor darling.
Tummy rubs - especially when he is sleepy.
Gardening - well by gardening he means eating leaves, chewing branches & assisting with relocating dirt!!
Lots of action - this guy loves a party and will play hard until he falls asleep on your feet- running, walking, bouncing he has boundless energy
If you think you meet all of Jake's requirements for a life partnership please apply today.

Pets Haven is a Pro-Life Animal Shelter.
Our aim is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home orphaned and homeless animals.
We do not and will never euthanise animals for economic reasons.
Unlimited veterinary care will be provided for any animal that comes into our care.
We temperament test every animal prior to accepting them into our shelter. If we accept a dog with a mild behavioural problem (such as jumping up, pulling on the lead etc) we will address this at the advice of a qualified dog trainer.
Euthanasia will only occur if:
On the advice of a veterinarian, they are diagnosed incurably ill and the prognosis is not favourable
If the animal displays a temperament which is deemed high risk.
We believe in responsibly giving all life a chance.
