CURRENTLY LOCATED AT LABRADOR ON THE GOLD COAST - BARBIE IS IN URGENT NEED OF A NEW HOME
Mini's Bulldog Rescue Club is assisting her current owner to find Barbie a new home
Barbie will celebrate her 7th birthday next week 🎂 and under difficult circumstances she needs a new home. She's a beautiful white Aussie x American Bulldog best suited to a home with adults and no other pets. Barbie is your typical bulldog who loves human company and affection, and will repay this with 100% loyalty.
Barbie is a water-baby ... heading out in the cool part of the day for a splash at the beach, in a river or swimming in the pool is her absolute favourite thing to do!
Barbie also enjoys car-rides and chewing on big bones! Which dog wouldn't?
Barbie hasn't been around kids at all which is why we are recommending a home with adults as its what she is used to.
Barbie is used to being walked on a harness with a short-lead - she gets excited when first going out for a walk - but once you get going she will settle down and enjoy the walk.
Barbie doesn't get on with other animals - it is important that she is the only pet in her new home and that she isn't let off-lead, and that fencing is fully secure in her new home.
Barbie is house-trained and should get the opportunity to spend time both inside and outside at her new home. And on those really hot summer days Barbie will need a cool place indoors, preferably in air-conditioning.
If you would like to adopt Barbie please send the #bullycrew at Mini's Bulldog Rescue Club a message and submit an application https://www.minisbulldogrescue.com/apply
Adopters experienced with medium / large breed dogs will be preferred.
Please note: Barbie isn't currently in foster care with Mini's Bulldog Rescue Club. We are assisting her current owner with finding Barbie a new home to make the transition to a new home as easy as possible for Barbie. MBRC will assist with the adoption process, but it's important that anyone interested to adopt Barbie is also in direct contact with her current owner to understand her reason for re-homing and make sure you are a great match.
All bulldogs are microchipped, desexed and up to date with vaccinations.
If you're interested to adopt please take a few minutes to complete our online application form so we can get to know you
Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
