Meet Shane - one of Baer's fourteen babies - all up for adoption and looking for special forever homes.
These large mixed breed babies were born on 24th November 2017. There are 8 girls and 6 boys. Mum is best described as a ridgeback x (although she has many breeds in there we believe) who weighs about 26 kilos. Dad was a mixed breed of similar sizing - he looks a lot like pup 9 and perhaps has some rotty in there, with many other breeds as well.
Shane is a very loveable special little guy. He didn't learn to walk as quickly as his siblings, but now you can't stop him from trotting after you! He is a typical pup - cheeky, mischievous and will keep you entertained all day long! He is coming along well with his crate training, he adores playing with other dogs but equally is happy playing on his own. He loves to run and sniff in the garden, but his favourite time is morning cuddles on the bed! He is looking for a place to call his, with people who will adore him and his kind eyes as much as we do!
Mum is a young pup herself - 10mths of age when she got pregnant. She loves attention, loves to play, is eager to learn and please, sits and shakes paws and is great with other dogs of all sizes. They came in as part of our last litter program - which you can read more about here: http://www.animalrescueqld.net/last-litter-program The funds from the adoption fee allows us to provide free vet work for the mumma dog as well as continue to help other families and desex as many litters as we can.
They have been raised on premium dry and wet food, they have been wormed every 2 weeks. They have been socialised with other dogs of all sizes and ages, had an array of different toys and also lots of people in their world giving them as much exposure and experience as we can to ensure they continue into well balanced, wonderful family members. They are very smart and preference will be given to families who can demonstrate a commitment to puppy school / basic obedience training (as this is super important to a young pups development). They have had their first vaccination, however will need 1-2 booster vacs in 4 and 8 weeks time. They have been microchipped and desexed.
If you feel you can give a pup a wonderful forever home, then please get in contact.
