About Cupcake
For the first few days and weeks even when they arrived at their foster home Sweetpea and Cupcake were both very hissy and would take swipes at their foster carer whenever they tried to get close. For this reason their foster carer has taken time with them and show them that humans really can be nice.
They are fairly affectionate now but are still "shy" cats although they do come to their names and like pats and head scratches. They will probably never be lap cats but they have the most beautiful personalities. Cupcake can be picked up for a little bit here and there but Sweetpea doesn't like it. They cuddle, clean & play with each other all day and are rarely seen apart. Both of them are very talkative girls, they are always making cute noises to each other but they also have very loud voices when they meow (kind of like Oriental cats) which may not suit some owners.
Cupcake and Sweetpea get along perfectly with the two resident cats at their foster home.
They need a forever home that is patient and understanding of how shy they are.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
