About Oscar **Adopted & On Trial With My New Family**
Full of life, a big personality and has plenty of sass to spare!
Could Oscar be the one for you?
Oscar once roamed the streets and was rescued by a kind lady who noticed how sweet he was. After building trust with her, Oscar came into care and has adapted well to a busy household. He is still wary of new people and will take some time to warm to you and trust you, but it’s worth the wait.
Oscar is very affectionate - smooches nonstop and is obsessed with pats and being brushed. Oscar will insist on sleeping in bed with you and will reward you with purrs.
He has some separation anxiety, so he can’t stand to be on the other side of a closed door if you are home and will follow you wherever you go.
He is very playful but can get a little enthusiastic with his play. So a home with children would not be suitable. Oscar is very receptive and smart - he has learnt "touch" and "up".
Oscar has become great mates with another foster cat, Austin, and we would love if you could adopt both together. This would help Oscar's confidence and give him someone to play with while his humans are working.
Oscar will need to be an indoor only cat as he cannot be trusted not to run away due to his high flight instinct. He has shown interest in meeting the other cats and the dogs in the household. A slow careful introduction to any fur friends of the family would be neccesary.
His foster carer and the lady who rescued him are totally in love with this boy so you would need to keep them up to date with how he is doing.
If you are looking for a cat with a strong sense of independence, but who loves his humans, then look no further — you have found your man!
Oscar will be patiently waiting for his perfect person to come adopt him and give him the home he so greatly deserves.
