About Syd
Syd can be a tad shy around strangers but is a chill dude once he’s settled in. He’s apparently a heartthrob in the cat world as he seems to attract other cats wherever he goes. He’s a man of few words who will grace you with his presence when he feels like it and will let you know when he’s had enough pats. He does not mind other cats and kittens but is not a big fan of dogs or puppies.
Syd came into care after being reported as a stray. We suspect that he has been mistreated early on in life as he not only becomes extremely withdrawn around strangers, but he also flinches violently whenever anybody reaches out to him. With time and patience, he is now comfortable enough to roll around by a window to sunbathe and walk up to people he knows to ask for pets. He will need an understanding family who is willing to let him blossom at his own pace.
Syd is currently staying at our refuge in Caboolture but meet & greets can be organised anywhere within 1.5 hours at no extra cost. Shoot us a message if you’d like to meet Syd!
