About Philip
HI There. When I was younger I used to go by the name Kitty but since I'm a strapping man now, I prefer Philip.
My face may look a little grumpy, but I assure you I'm chilled. It's possible that I look that way because every new person I meet asks me really silly questions like "can humans get FIV?". Of course not! The F stands for "Feline" so just relax and keep me inside away from other cats and we never have to mention FIV again!
Once we're past our first introduction I'm extremely affectionate. I just love a good pat and head scratch. I can't get enough of it! I'm a bit shy though so when your hand is finally too weak from scratching my head for hours on end I like to take a nap in a qhiet place like under the bed or behind the couch. I don't really like to be held but I am known to jump onto an open lap if something good is on the telly.
I'm not a fan of small children and dogs. I just get a bit agitated by them, even when they are really well behaved! I am a very well behaved young man, sometimes I like to switch from cuddling to playful mood and get can a bit rough at play time!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
