Little lottie is an amazing tiny miss. She will never get bigger than 2kg, yet her massive tail takes up about half of he body! Lottie is good with other cats and dogs, and is extremely affectionate.
Lottie is a medically needy cat, and is looking for an adopter who is a little extra special, but do not let the following put you off! She is amazing!
Lottie has an inoperable liver shunt, meaning she requires a strict diet of vet food K/D. It also means she needs two medications twice a day morning and night. She takes these medications like an absolute little champ, because this has always been her life, she doesn't know any different. This is Lottie's normal, and she loves life!
Looking at Lottie, you would never know she was a little different. Her quality of life is 100% and she is expected to live many many years.
Lottie's adoption will have full long term backing of her medical needs, with a strong partnership between rescue and adopter. This will include future medical requirements, such as 6 monthly blood tests and access to life long medication.
Lottie has been in foster care since she was 4 weeks old, she is now one, and as 2018 begins, we are going to strive to rehome her to the best possible forever she can ask for. Lottie has spent this time in foster care getting the correct balance of food, medications and medical treatment. She has had CT scans and seen specialists, and is quite famous in the Adelaide medical community for her zest for life! Lottie's vet has now signed her off to find her forever, and that is what we will do.
If you would like to know more, please do not hesitate to text or email to organise a time for a phone conversation and a meet and greet!
