About Wolfie
Wolfie is a playful kitten and very cheeky too..
Adoption details
Little Wolfie is part of a litter of 4 kittens.
He has 3 sisters and he is the only male.
His mum was rescued while still pregnant, which meant that Wolfie was able to grow up safely indoors and not outside in an old shed or rubble in a backyard nearby.
He was protected indoors with his mum getting the food she needed to feed her babies until Wolfie was able to start eating solids.
This gave him and his littermates the means to be able to grow up being used to humans and patted and weighed every day to make sure he was growing well. He was given a chance in life to become a friendly little kitten and the making of a great pet.
If a kitten doesn't get the exposure to humans before the age of 3 months old, they will become very timid and not trusting of people - which happens a lot in the local neighbourhood in Bankstown.
Wolfie's growth has been healthy, putting on weight every day since he was born and he had a great appetite, always making sure he got his share of mum's milk and more.
He was the heaviest baby born in the litter, but interestingly, the last kitten to open his eyes. When I mentioned this progress to a friend, she commented that he must be a 'lazy male' - compared to his three sisters.
Wolfie has such a cute little face - A cheeky face - like a little gremlin.
His colouring is a dark, almost solid grey ( in the cat terminology, grey is classed as 'blue') so he looks like a Russian Blue breed. He has very faint tabby stripes that are just a little bit darker than the rest of his coat, but these can only be noticed close up and in good light.
Wolfie is available to be adopted with another kitten or cat so he has company. If you already have another cat, he would be a good companion, or you can adopt him with one of his sisters.
