About Bandit
Foster carers urgently needed for cats that are working on their human interaction confidence or kittens that need to be out of rescue environment.
Bandit is initially is a shy boy and is wary of new people, that’s why he is still waiting for his forever home. But when he gets to know you he is super super super affectionate and very cheeky. Bandit is a chatter, he will lay next to you and start chatting, then it will follow with a face rub. Bandit comes to finger-clicking as he believes there is a pat and belly rub to follow.
Bandit is a bed and lap cat, he likes to sleep or sit right next to you. Bandit has a habit of standing in his water bowl, if he can't stand in it he will not drink it. He is a very easy cat to care for. Bandit would do well in a home on his own or with a friendly confident cat. Bandit is fine with calm cat-friendly dogs, he will need to warm up, he will do the normal hissing cat stuff, but will figure it out! Brandit has formed an attachment with Cree, they sleep with each other and spend time cleaning each other with occasional play bites and wrestles. It would be great if they are adopted together, however, we know that this sometimes means they won't get adopted at all, therefore we have to keep their options open.
Bandit wants to be someone’s love of their life! He wants to share your pillow, sit on your lap during computer time, and lay next to you on the couch! Bandit has a bit of a jealous streak so if you are looking for your next feline stalker, Bandit is it!!!’He is totally devoted and a total sookie guy!!
Bandit has been put on hold a few times, that’s why has been listed for a while, as he is amazing with bottle feed kittens, he will sleep with them, look after them which is a huge help. When we get a litter in, we put bandit on mummy duties. Bandit's nanny duties are over and it’s his time to find him a forever home!
Medical notes
Sometimes experiences a swollen paw pad , it’s been diagnosed as plasma cell pododermatitis. When it flares up treatment may need a course of antibiotics and prednisolone, until it dies down. The tabs are around $30 for a full month, so not expensive (depends on your relationship with your vet), sadly this has may be a deterrent for bandit in finding his forever home. Other than this, bandit is healthy and super affectionate and ready to be in a loving home.
