Kargyne needs to be kept inside or in a secure cat run at all times as he contracted Feline Immunodeficiency Virus in his time on the streets. He is still putting on weight but at 5kg the vet has cleared him to go up for adoption. Kargyne will need a well-balanced diet to help keep him in great shape. We are giving him oily fish to help get his coat into a better condition and fortunately he loves being brushed.
Kargyne has extremely sensitive skin so needs tablet flea and worm control as spot on applications burn him.
He is great with other cats. With a slow introduction he will tolerate a dog, but has shown clear preference for the senior dog over the 4 year old in his carer’s home.
A great companion cat, Kargyne is non-plussed by most things in a family home. His one bad habit that needs monitoring is to feed him on his own. He does not like anyone near him as he eats.

Congratulations!! Adopting a new pet is super exciting stuff and we're here to help!
WA Pet Project aims to match our foster pets as perfectly as possible with their new homes. We also want to ensure that the potential home is suitable for our foster pets.... So there's a few easy steps we need to cover. To view our adoption process click on the link below:
Please note we cover up to date vaccines whilst the pet is in foster care. The adoption fee does not cover microchip change over fees after the trial is over. For more info send us an email.
