Cleo ~ Mastff x Ridgeback
Large Female Mastiff x Ridgeback Mix Dog
- Rescue group:
- Dog Rescue Newcastle
- PetRescue ID:
- New South Wales
Cleo is a Mastiff x Ridgeback girl with a huge heart and beautiful nature.
Cleo loves to cuddle and show you how much she loves you, she still likes to sit on your lap when invited but shes realizing shes getting a little big for that and rest her head on your lap instead.
Cleo plays outside through the day with the other dogs who she loves and gets along with really well. She sleeps inside at night and is now toilet trained.
Cleo's perfect home would be with a play mate or someone's companion going places with them etc., being a puppy she cries if left alone all day.
Cleo is learning basic commands and will be a perfect girl with continued training. She loves learning. Cleo is good with kids but does jump up to play with little ones she will come away from them when called so supervision will be needed if kids are playing otherwise she loves to sit and snuggle with kids. Cleo loves to play tug o war, chasies, and jumping around in the shell pool on a warm day. Shes good walking on the lead and so far not afraid of storms or fireworks.

Happy and healthy dog
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
