Hi there, my name is Magic and
if you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an expression of interest form and a RSPCA staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
I'm a beautiful bay TB mare who is looking to find a new forever home. I'm sure to win your heart over as I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
My earlier years weren't my best, after my racing days were over I didn't get the love and attention I deserved. I came into the RSCPA emaciated, covered with rainscald and lice with sand in my stomach and overgrown hooves. You wouldn't recognise me now though! I look and feel like a completely different horse! Just have a look at my photos, they're magic ;-)
Although I've raced within the last year with my last race being in August 2016, I would still thrive from some professional training so I can ride at my best. I would also love some extra ground work to further develop a relationship with you.
For as long as I can remember I would love an even-tempered companion or two to keep me company. I'm a pretty well behaved horse, I'm good for the farrier and dental vet and easy to worm and vaccinate. However, unfortunately my teeth haven't been well looked after so I'll initially need bi-yearly checks done by a dental vet.
I'd love a home where I could be a well trained ridden horse, in the company of other horses and loved and cared for by my owners. I'm a bit of an independent woman, I tend to expect the worst so I need an owner who will understand I might take some time to come around and truly appreciate our friendship after years of being treated as a commodity.
If you think I'm your perfect match, lets make this magic happen and fill out an expression of interest form for me!
I am not desexed.
RSPCA adoption animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatments before going to their new homes, and this is all included in the adoption fee.
Our adoption teams are expert match makers and will help you find your new best friend!
