Miss Zana is looking for her forever family to help her learn to trust and a rabbit sibling to call her own.
Zana is a precious, shy young girl who had a rough start to life and is still learning how to trust new people. She loves to spend her free time playing with her foster siblings, staring at you while you eat, and sun bathing with her bunny foster sister.
Zana is very shy with new people, although she does get curious and come out to see who you are, she is very cautious with touch and is looking for the right family to show her that human touch is a good thing and that she’ll never be hurt by your hands.
Zana will come sit next to you, walk all over you (especially if you have food!) and occasionally rub up against you but she still isn’t sure how to let you touch her even though she badly wants to be loved.
Zana is currently living with cats, dogs and a rabbit. Her new home needs to have a cat to be her best friend and, ideally, a rabbit for Zana to snuggle with although that is not a fixed requirement, and she can coexist with a calm, cat-savvy dog. She will not be suited to a high-energy dog with no understanding of personal space or one who will chase her. She is not suited to young children; older children may be okay if they understand that she is still learning to trust and respect her boundaries, she will not be a cat you can pickup and cuddle straight away.
This sweet girl has so much potential to blossom into a perfect, loving cat, she just needs a lot of love and a little bit of calm and patience to guide her on her journey. If you do not have another cat but are interested in helping Zana on her journey to freedom, consider adopting another cat with her as Zana lives in a multi foster cat household and we can find a perfect second companion for you both!
Congratulations!! Adopting a new pet is super exciting stuff and we're here to help!
