PEANUT IS A GOLDEN OLDIE
Dear little Peanut came to us sad and in pain as she couldn’t use one of her hind legs because she needed cruciate surgery to repair her damaged knee. Fast forward to today and she is a brand new girl. Peanut is estimated to be 10 and has vision in only one eye due to a cataract but there is no slowing down for this girl. She has the use of all four legs now and she is making up for lost time. Peanut gets on well with her two foster dog friends that she lives with and delights in noodling around the garden beds with them looking for lizards and anything else they may find. She has learnt to walk on a lead and thoroughly enjoys getting out for a stroll around the neighborhood.
Peanut can be a little reserved when meeting new people but she soon warms up and is a very affectionate dog. She loves her food so along with breakfast and dinner being her favourite times of the day, cuddles with her family are super important as well. Peanuts ideal home would be one where there is another small dog for company and folks who either work from home or work part time. She isn’t suitable for a home with small children or cats.
Peanut’s coat requires a quick bath and brush, she is a house dog and uses a doggie door to go inside and out to the garden.
Peanut comes desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and she has had a dental. The adoption fee is $395. Peanut is not available for adoption outside of NSW (Except ACT). If you would like further information on Peanut, please email Denise
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs please email and tell us all about your family, other pets, lifestyle, accommodation and anything else relevant to your enquiry, this information helps us to know if the dog you are enquiring about will suit your family. As all of our rescue dogs are in foster care in private homes we know what our dogs want and need to keep them happy when they are adopted by their new family. Home visits are done to check fencing, meet family members and other animals in the home. Once the home check is complete you are welcome to visit the dog in his foster home and all going well the dog will go on a two week trial with your family. We are always happy to extend the trial period if necessary. If for any reason at any time the adoption fails please contact us immediately, we will always take our dogs back into care
