Trevor is a dear little man who loves to be with his humans and play ball. He gets along very well with the other little dogs he is in foster care with and is very affectionate with his foster parents, one of his favorite things after playing with the ball is cuddles on the couch with his foster Mum and Dad.
Trevor is estimated to be about 9 years old, but he is a very active and healthy older gentleman. He likes being walked daily but his true passion is chasing balls. He brings the balls to his foster Mum and Dad anytime he thinks might be a good time and will then chase and bring back the ball for as long as you will throw it. Since arriving in foster care Trevor has has learnt to go outside for the toilet but we are still working on the doggy door access. Trevor would suit a home with another little doggy for company and preferably one who will play ball with him.
Trevor has a coat that will grow and require regular brushing and grooming, he is a house dog and requires access via a doggie door or similar.
Small dogs like Trevor can be prone to dental disease, we recommend that they have their teethed checked by a vet every year when they go for their annual vaccination.
Our vets have to do dentals on 95% of our rescue dogs with many losing teeth because their previous owners have not bothered to take care of their teeth properly. Please factor these costs in when thinking of adopting a rescue dog.
Trevor comes desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested and he has had a dental. The adoption fee is $395. Trevor is not available for adoption outside of NSW (Except ACT). If you would like further information on Trevor, please email Denise
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescue dogs please email and tell us all about your family, other pets, lifestyle, accommodation and anything else relevant to your enquiry, this information helps us to know if the dog you are enquiring about will suit your family. As all of our rescue dogs are in foster care in private homes we know what our dogs want and need to keep them happy when they are adopted by their new family. Home visits are done to check fencing, meet family members and other animals in the home. Once the home check is complete you are welcome to visit the dog in his foster home and all going well the dog will go on a two week trial with your family. We are always happy to extend the trial period if necessary. If for any reason at any time the adoption fails please contact us immediately, we will always take our dogs back into care
