Happy and mischievous, Basil is ready to stick his long nose into every part of someone’s life. He might not be a lap dog, but as one paw at a time slowly works its way onto you, somehow you still end up with 36kg of greyhound sprawled across your lap.

Basil is very inquisitive, still exploring life away from his racing career. His head is quick to look in an open draw, but he is responding to training well, learning his manners and is house trained. He’s been living with a female whippet, and they get on well.

He is super good looking, with tiger markings, but most of all, Basil is really affectionate. He is comfortable home alone with his doggy pal during the day, but there is violent tail wagging when you return, as he’s waiting at the door for you. And he’s already for a game. Basil will do well in a home that’s willing to spend time with him and return his affection and a doggy pal wouldn't go astray.
