Basil has had a really rough start to life. He found himself in a pound whereby no one came to claim him :(
He is approx. 3 years and we cannot be exactly sure however we think he is a Bull Arab x.
He is disorientated and confused as you would well imagine.
Basil is only showing a fraction of his personality to us as he can be aloof and disinterested. Trust is only just beginning with him and this will take some time.
He is not a "jumpy" dog and very laid back.
He has tested good with dogs although at this stage he doesn't exactly love their company enough to play :(
He is a very vocal young man, we think he is trying to tell us his story:(
He is a strong boy who needs a strong handler and further training but does listen and is food orientated.
He is very sad without a doubt and requires time, attention and lots of love to develop that trusting relationship.
He requires at minimum 6 foot fences as he is a large dog.

Basil is currently in kennels which he does not like and we are searching for a foster carer for him as we feel he may develop further and faster in a home environment. Adoption Fee: $300 which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treated.
