About Chi Cha ~ Special Needs
Introducing Chi Cha - a 9 year old Alaskan Malamute lady who needs a very special foster carer or adopter to help her learn to trust and be part of family life again.
Chi Cha can be a sweet girl who likes praise and treats however she will get very uncomfortable if there is too much activity going on around her. She easily feels pressured and anxious so she requires a very quiet, easy-going home environment with someone who has a lot of time and patience. She will benefit from being given as much space as she requires to feel at ease with her new people.
Chi Cha enjoys a good walk and loves to sniff her surroundings. She would best suit a confident single person or couple who are experienced with special needs anxious large dogs. She needs an environment with no children or visiting children and one where she can be given her own safe space away from visitors. We can offer trainer support to the special carers or adopters who want to assist Chi Cha to have a normal life again.
Chi Cha may suit a home with another arctic breed male doggy companion. Or a home without other pets so that her integration and training can be the focus. Her new carers will be preferably local to the Central Coast, Sydney or Newcastle areas and will need to meet with her a few times prior to taking her home to build her trust in them.
So if you have the confidence, experience and patience to make a difference to a lovely girl's future then please contact us about Chi Cha.
Medical notes
Chi Cha has been vet checked and is in good health.
