About Diago Dingo x
Diago is gentle and incredibly sweet, he is patient and unassuming, quietly waiting for a fur-ever home to call his own.
While he can be shy at first (especially of men) he is really just looking for a best mate to love unconditionally. Once Diago gets to know you, he loves to snuggle, rest his head in your lap and roll over for a tummy rub. Diago doesn't bark and his quiet, gentle nature means he is a big favorite here at the shelter. We can't believe he still hasn't found a home!
Diago is fantastic in the car, great on leash (doesn't pull) and happy to chill at your feet over a coffee at a quiet local cafe. He has not been exposed to urban areas (with things like traffic) much, but with patience and practice he could happily adapt to an urban or rural home.
Diago is very smart and quick to learn what you want, he is generally good with other medium and large dogs and could suit a home with another female dog or dingo (he'd also be fine on his own with lots of time with his human family!).
Diago is good with kids but needs a home with no cats, livestock, pocket pets or birds as he likes to chase/plays a bit too rough for small animals.
Diago is a dingo hybrid and will require 2m secure fencing and dig proofing at the base of the fence. Please ask us for more info on fencing/dig proofing- we are here to help, don't let the fencing requirements put you off.
Adoption details
Please note at this time pending legal advice we are unable to offer fox kit adoption to private owners.
Dingo Adoption:
1. Fill out an adoption form and send it back to us with an email outlining anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our dingoes require an enclosure or modified fencing.
2. Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Camden shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you.
3. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed.
