About Brindy
Brindy is a big boy who is a complete sook. He loves to keep you company & would be great in an office environment or even if you worked from home.
He would be ok as an only dog, however he would prefer company... Brindy & his brother Harley are both available for adoption, so if you want a pair of dogs to keep each other company, Brindy & Harley would be great! It is not essential that they are adopted together, but we would love to see them find their new homes together... They have been together for their whole lives so far, except for a couple of months. They play really well together and respect each others signals with no worries. Harley doesn't even mind when Brindy steals his favourite toy (see picture collage). We have heard from people who have known these boys their whole lives that their nickname is 'Double Trouble'... Because you would always see them together.
Brindy would like to find a home with no small animals, as he doesn't really understand them & is unsure of what his response should be to them. He would be great with another large dog.
Brindy is a beautiful big, gentle boy who loves snuggles. He will gently lay his head in your lap or against your chest for a big hug. He would be great in a nursing home, as he is the perfect height for snuggles. Being a big boy, means he can be strong though, so to helpo him learn nice leash manners we have been training him with a Halti. He is doing very well and will walk calmly while wearing it. We have even been to cafes & he has been very good.
A special adoption fee will be available to the lucky family who adopts both Brindy and his brother Harley. We would ideally like to see them go together, but it is not essential.

We will require a return contact email/ phone number to discuss with you the options of adopting or fostering a Greyhound.
You will need to complete an application form, then a home visit will be conducted to meet the family and any other pets you may have. We will then match you with a hound we think is suitable (or check the suitability of a dog you like) & arrange a meet and greet.
Once a successful meet & greet has been completed, you will sign the adoption paperwork and the adoption fee will be paid. There is a 2wk trial period, so if for any reason in the next 2wks the adoption does not go ahead, the hound will come back into care and your adoption fee will be refunded or you can be matched with a new hound.
**Payment plans may be available, but you will need to discuss this with us prior to the signing of the adoption paperwork.
