About Harley
Harley is a cheeky boy who is obsessed with his toys... He has little piles of them around the house and yard everywhere! As you can see by his photos he does not mind what sort, size or colour they are but the squeaky ones are his favourite!
Harley would suit a home where he is an only dog or he has another large dog for company... His brother Brindy is also up for adoption and they get on very well. Harley and Brindy have only been separated a few months in their entire lives, so ideally we would like to see them stay together but we do not feel this is essential.
Harley is a fairly independent boy who is happy to take himself off with his toys, although he does come to check what his brother, Brindy (also up for adoption), is up to from time to time. Harley will also allow Brindy to steal his favourite toy from time to time (see Brindy's adoption profile for sneaky toys stealing photos).
We would love to see Harley & his brother Brindy go to their new home together, as they have done everything together so far in their lives... Including retire from racing together. They have been together their whole lives, except for a few short months. While it is not a necessity for these boys to go together, we (and their breeder) would love to see them spend the rest of their days together. A special adoption fee will applied to the lucky family who adds both of these boys to their family.
Medical notes
Harley has Pannus, which is currently being treated by gel which is applied once per day. He is a good boy and fairly patient while you administer it.
Pannus is an eye condition, that while not curable is treatable. This is an easy to manage condition, just requiring the drops at this time.
Adoption details
To adopt a dog from Greyhound Re-Homing, please contact us through one of the following methods:

We will require a return contact email/ phone number to discuss with you the options of adopting or fostering a Greyhound.
You will need to complete an application form, then a home visit will be conducted to meet the family and any other pets you may have. We will then match you with a hound we think is suitable (or check the suitability of a dog you like) & arrange a meet and greet.
Once a successful meet & greet has been completed, you will sign the adoption paperwork and the adoption fee will be paid. There is a 2wk trial period, so if for any reason in the next 2wks the adoption does not go ahead, the hound will come back into care and your adoption fee will be refunded or you can be matched with a new hound.
**Payment plans may be available, but you will need to discuss this with us prior to the signing of the adoption paperwork.
