About Clooney Zoolander
~ Check out Clooney's videos to see what a gorgeous friendly cat he is...~
*Strictly Indoor only or with a secure outdoor enclosure
*Deserves to be in a home with other friendly cats or consider adopting one of his friends here
WHAT WE THINK: Meet the devastatingly handsome “Clooney” – aptly named after the Hollywood actor George Clooney. His surname is Zoolander because he has mastered the art of 'pulling a zoolander' with that Blue Steel expression. Our Clooney is certainly always looking his best and he's brilliant at photo and video bombing too.
While George is no longer on the market, lucky for you, Clooney still remains a sought after bachelor, looking for the right woman (or man) to take him home. Just like his namesake, Clooney is devastatingly handsome, with his movie star looks. He’s also very popular with the ladies (human and feline alike) and is a bit of a ladies’ man, especially with gorgeous Carmen. He's what we describe as 'Catsanova' because everyone loves him.
Look at him, romancing Carmen. Just like George, this boy isn’t going to be a bachelor forever – not if we at RescueCat Project have anything to say about it! He's got those movie star looks with his glossy black and white coat and sleek physique. He's got a mysterious quality to him with his back mask. Clooney is your tall dark handsome cat with the personality to match. Clooney would be suitable to most homes. We would love to see him adopted with his new girlfriend Carmen, and have this budding romance have a happy movie ending!
Clooney is very friendly and easy-going and would get along with most felines. If you’re looking for that star quality – look no further than Clooney.
ABOUT ME: I'm so happy even though I've never lived in a real home but I keep hearing that I deserve to be in one. Homes sound pretty awesome but I do hope that one of my friends will be adopted with me because I'm having a wonderful time with them. If I had a choice of just one to pick who should I select? My girlfriend Carmen would say 'pick me, pick me', she sure is pretty and loves me. Then I have my other great friends Cody and Ollie too and my mum Nina and sister Annie too. How could I possibly make a decision?
I heard my foster mum Leesa say that she thinks I would settle into any home providing there are other friendly cats. I'll trust her good judgement on that.
Medical notes
Clooney is a very happy healthy boy. He's slender with a very shiny coat and a wonderful appetite.
He's desexed, microchipped, vaccinated F3 (first vaccination), and flea and worm treated. He's also negative to FIV and FeLV.
As he is a rescue cat, we do not know his family history however his mum and sister are also with us and both are healthy too. We have known him since he was 12 weeks old as the family were in a managed colony. He was rescued at 8 months old and has adjusted and settled beautifully in a short time.
Adoption details
We want to make it simple. So this is the process:
(1) You contact us.
(2) We contact you.
(3) You complete our adoption inquiry form.
(4) You meet the Cat.
(5) Subject to Cat Committee approval and a house inspection (plus a modest adoption fee), you adopt the Cat.
As part of the adoption change of ownership of the microchip number will be transferred to you.
You will be required to then do NSW Lifetime Registration with your local council and must present them with a copy of the desex certificate. Most council charge approximately $50 for this. It if very important that you remember to notify your local council if you move addresses to ensure your cats lifetime registration has current contact details.
