Buddha and Milly are a bonded sibling pair who came into our care after their owner needed to relocate overseas.
They are initially very timid around new people and in fact spent the first 3 weeks hiding under their carer's bed. Now, after lots of love, coaxing and patience they have decided that life in foster care is not so bad and they are now happy to interact and seek affection from their foster mum. Any prospective adopters will need to understand, however, that they are likely to take a little time to also settle in to their permanent adoptive home.
Milly is the smaller of the pair and absolutely loves affection once she knows and trusts you. She loves to climb onto her carer's lap and happily laps up attention and pats.
Buddha is the larger of the pair but is probably the more timid. He took longer to come around than Milly, and would hiss in fear in his first week or so with us. However, now that he is also comfortable and relaxed Buddha also enjoys affection.
Milly and Buddha would do best in a quiet home without any other animals. They also need to be rehomed to a home without children as they would probably find them too overwhelming.
Please submit an enquiry via the appropriate link on the profile of the animal your are interested in. We will endeavour to respond to you within 48 hours of your enquiry, at which time we will respond to your queries and (if requested) will forward you our adoption enquiry questionnaire. This enables us to learn a little more about you and the home you can offer so we can chat with you about whether a particular animal might be compatible with you and your lifestyle.
