About Hedgehog
Hi my name is Hedgehog and I would be the purrrfect addition to almost any family! I'm easy going and affectionate, good with kids and most other cats and would also be fine with a small dog.
I would love to keep your lap warm and help you with all your household chores (by shadowing you everywhere and rubbing against your legs for moral support).
I love to chat and will jump up on the arm of the couch and mew to ask for a head rub or a tummy tickle. I love to sleep on the end of bed and make a furtastic foot warmer on chilly nights.
I'm very social and unlike many cats I love being picked up and cuddled!! If you are looking for a chatty, cuddly, companion cat I'm the one for you.
All my kittens have found their fur-ever homes and I'd love to find a family too. Are you my pawfect home?
(Indoor homes only please, Hedgehog is fostered in the Camden area but we are happy to come to you for a meet and greet anywhere in the Greater Sydney and Wollongong area).
Adoption details
Adopting a cat kitten from Sydney Fox Rescue is essentially a three step process:
1. Send us an adoption inquiry outlining anything you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. We will then send you back a short adoption application so we can get to know you and find the right furry family member for you.
Remember our cats are indoor cats only, and should be outdoors only in an approved cat enclosure. We work hard to take these guys off the street and offer them a lifetime of care and comfort. The average outdoor cat lives to only 4 years old compared to 13 for indoor cats!
2. Come along to meet us and our kittens at our Camden shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you.
3. Before you can pick up your new cat or kitten you need to prepare, this includes: paying your adoption fee, setting up a bed, toys and scratching post and stocking up on kitten food. Ask us about a shopping list for your new family member.
