About Tash
I'm a cheeky, boisterous young dingo, born in the wild up north. I am looking for an experienced dingo owner to continue my socialising and training. I'm incredibly curious and love to get up to mischief, climbing, jumping, swimming and other outdoor activities. I was the runt of the litter, but don't let that deceive you, I want to be the leader of the pack and despite my small size I am full of sass and energy.
I love other dingoes (desexed male preferred) and would like a home with experienced dingo owners who are prepared for my mischief.
I prefer adults and older kids and a home without birds, cats or pocket pets would be best.
FENCING-
Like all dingoes Tash is a fantastic climber and digger, and will require one of the following: 2.2m colourbond fencing OR a dog enclosure OR a secure 1.8 meter fence with top angling or flat-top extensions (http://www.dog-blog-world.com/dog-fence/),
Sydney Fox Rescue are able to provide advice on dingo proofing for your existing yard and most yards can be modified for between $200-500 depending on the size of the yard.
Please note SFR do not rehome dingoes to homes without a dog enclosure or modified dog fence like the one described above.
PERMITS- no permit is required to own a dingo or dingo hybrid in NSW at the present time.
Adoption details
Adopting a dingo from Sydney Fox/Dingo Rescue is essentially a three step process:
1. Fill out an adoption form and send it back to us with an email outlining anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our dingoes require an enclosure or modified fencing 1.8m for hybrids, 2.2m for pure dingoes.
2. Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Blacktown shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you.
3. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed
