About Addison
💜🐶AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION🐶💜
Addison or Addie as she is affectionately known was rescued from an aboriginal community camp in rural Victoria, she arrived with her siblings and her mother absolutely amaciated, covered in fleas and ticks and with very little handling.
While she is close to 6 months of age she still looks like a 3-4 month old, weighing approximately 8kg. Addie is reasonable sensible for a puppy and would have no problems living with children 5 or older.
Addie is extremely food motivated making her an exceptional training buddy. To continue her socialisation and give her a chance to be the best dog she can be we are looking for a patient and committed home that will continue her training with an obedience/training club.
Addie knows how to sit, drop, is walking well on a harness but does require some guidance with this. Addie has commenced her toilet training and is almost there her new family must understand that she may have some accidents until she gets used to her new home.
Addie absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy a similar size play companion for when her parents aren't home. She likes to kiss the cats as much as she can but some times tests the waters and will chase them, she lives with a very sassy and dog savy cat who has no problems holding her own, a cat with similar traits would be fine living with Addie. Addie has meet horses on lead in her foster home and while interested she has not shown any interest in chasing them, we feel with the continue socialisation around them Addie would have no problems with horses.
Due to Addies being starved as a puppy having to scavenge for food, her new home must be aware if they have another dog that she MUST be fed separately, she will growl at other dogs if they go near her food. Starving can do that to a dog.
Addie is super affectionate, she gives kisses and LOVES a tummy rub.
If you believe you have a loving, patient, kind, committed and happy home for Addie please send us a brief description of the home you can provide and why you think your home would be perfect for Addie.

Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. if this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
