Cooper has so much love to give, just look at those eyes. Cooper is fantastic with my boys ages 7&9 and loves being with the family and having cuddles. Playing ball is by far one of his most favourite games to play and Coop loves going for walks. Don't let his age fool you, you'd never pick him as being 11yo
He's crate trained and when he goes to sleep in his crate you don't hear a word from him all night. Cooper is also toilet trained and doesn't go inside. He knows to sit, stay, drop, rollover, wait, leave it. What's even better is he's learning new commands every day.
So sounds like the perfect dog??? Believe me he is so amazing and I love him dearly but his new family needs to be prepared for his not so good trates.
Cooper is not good with other dogs. He was apparently attacked as a puppy and as a result he now shows aggression towards other dogs. We have managed him hear with our dogs but have never pushed him or allowed them to be in the same space. I think given his age and the fact that he likes being an only dog, there is no need to push introductions with other dogs. Cooper is also no good with cats. This big guy is a big baby when it comes to thunderstorms and fireworks so his new family will need to be prepared for that. He is also a little wary of new people but when introduced correctly he will shower them with love.
So Cooper is looking
- to be the only dog in his family
- NO CATS or pocket pets
- someone who will not take him to off lead dog parks
- a family full of love
- nice home with a yard to play ball in
Cooper has some athritic changes in his hips which is reflective of his age.
Puppy Tales Rescue is not a first to apply rescue group. We re-home our dogs based on the best possible family we can find them.
