About Bruce
This handsome boy hasn't had the best year. Starved and repeatedly attacked by two Dobermans he found himself surrendered to the pound, alone and in bad shape.
After a few months of TLC from the medical staff, Bruce has recovered his strength and has been placed in foster care.
Bruce is now coming along in leaps in bounds! He is showing himself to be a loving and goofy dog. He loves a cuddle and is most happy when he is by your side.
Bruce is learning basic manners. He is learning to walk well on a lead and knows how to sit, drop and shake hands. Bruce gets a little overwhelmed by dogs that are up in his face or barking aggressively but is fine with calm, friendly pooches. Bruce is also house trained and crate trained and sleeps well through the night FFAR likes all there dogs to have a nice warm safe place to sleep inside with there family during the night.
Bruce is good with children although would obviously need supervision as purely due to his size may knock young children over in his enthusiasm. He is learning not to jump up when saying hello.
Bruce will need ongoing obedience to help him grow in confidence.
Medical notes
Bruce is currently on a low dose of anti anxiety medication.
