About Max
ABOUT ME:
I am a sweet smoochy ginger cat who loves chin rubs and sometimes I get so carried away with how much I love them, that I roll on my back in pure bliss. I am quite shy when I first meet you but give me a few weeks to settle in and I will be greeting you at the door with a very vocal hello. I love to perch myself on high places and I give you odd looks when you talk to me, which my foster mum thinks is funny. I just lost my best friend Ali (who was going to be adopted out with me) to cancer, so now I'm going out into the world solo. Sometimes I feel sad and miss Ali, so I like lots of cuddles to make me feel better.
I like to play chase with mouse-like toys. I get down real low and wiggle my butt before I pounce. My friends think it's funny, I just think I'm really fast and I like to show them how good my skills are.
WHAT WE THINK:
Max has recently had his world turned upside down when his previous owner had to devastatingly surrender him (and Ali) to us. Before coming to us he was in a cattery for 3 months as the owner could not bring herself to send him to the pound. He is a very loving and smoochy cat who will make a great pet. Max is chilled and a little shy, and he's a little sooky but in a cute way. He just loves to snuggle and bury his head into you.
He is an indoor cat that doesn't try or even like being outside. I'm not sure how he would go with another cat. I think at this stage he would suit an only cat home with people who are home often as he can get a bit lonely (since losing Ali). You could possibly introduce a kitten or gentle cat later on. Children over 10 years old would be fine but I think younger children could overwhelm him.
He's a lovely companion cat with a whole lot of love to give.
ADOPTING ME: We have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take us home, We will be committed to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me. My foster mother wants us to go to a safe and secure home. The adoption fee is $150.
Medical notes
Max is a happy healthy cat who will be adopted out vaccinated, microchipped, desexed and with all his flea and worming up to date. He is approximately 2 years old.
