Allow me to introduce myself. My foster family call me Lucifurr, which was apparently a reference to how devilishly I behaved when I first come into care.
I was quite defensive about my babies, but can you blame me? I was living in backyards fending for myself so I wasn't going to let anyone come near them, and embarrassingly I may of hissed and spat at the humans a little.
Now that I am learning what it is like to live in a house, I am much more settled and I really think I could get used to this life.
I LOVE that fact that I no longer need to hunt or scavenge for food, and that it appears in front of me in a nice little bowl. I must confess that I am a sucker for treats and will do just about anything for some cooked chicken breast.
Now that my babies are old enough to live without me and are looking for their own new homes, I'm on a new kind of hunt... for a home and family to call my own.
I am not after a huge fuss, just a nice quiet home where I can relax in the sun on a windowsill and share the house, and maybe even the furniture with you.
As I am just beginning to learn all about life indoors, I would love a patient family who are happy for me to chill out nearby, and won't insist on picking me up to much just yet. I might be ok with that in the future, though.
I currently reside with other foster cats and would be fine with a friendly feline in the house.
