Sunshine (Foster Carer Needed)
Her little Woo's
Female Domestic Short Hair Cat
- Rescue group:
- Paws of Love Animal Rescue Inc.
- PetRescue ID:
Caring Forever Home Wanted. Sunshine was a timid cat, that I have been working, now she loves pats and people. What a turn around!
A bit of background:
Sunshine co-parented with another Mum cat called Mouse, they both were found on the streets of Melbourne with tiny babies. Although they aren't related in anyway, they look almost identical.
They both are beautiful. They were in a foster home where they would hide under the bed all day and didn't get the behavioral and social skills they needed. All the kittens were adopted and left these poor Mums behind.
Sunshine has come around to humans, Mouse is taking a lot longer. Sunshine is coming out of her shell more and more everyday. I found her winding through my legs this week for food.
She is now accepting human love and touch, I can pat her anytime, she loves it, however we are working on the being lifted. Even a week makes a huge difference.
We did ideally want these best friends to stay together, however Sunshine is ready to be re-homed and loved and Mouse isn't ready and may take months to be ready.
If I keep Sunshine with Mouse, she will feed of Mouse's fear. I need to separate them.
Mouse's profile is here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/admin/groups/10921/listings/501519
The greatest gift is watching a once scared animal turn into a loving lap animal, the reward in the end makes all the work in between worth it.
If you have patience to continue working with this beautiful young mum and then be rewarded with a stunning lap cat that does a little "woooing " sound like an owl, then please message us.
Like all Paws of Love cats, she will be
FIV tested (negative)
Before going for her 2 week trial.
Should you see an animal that you think could suit your lifestyle, please fill in our Cat Pre-Adoption Questionnaire by clicking on the link below:
If you sound like a good match for the rescue pet, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you.
