About Willow
Willow came in days before Xmas, emaciated and weighing only weighs 12.7kg with barely strength to stand. She had a large pendulous mammary which has been removed. Willow is almost double her original weight now and has that clhilled ridgeback manner. Willow is happy to be left unattended from humans and is completely trustworthy. She is happy with her own company and prefers to be the only dog in the household. She can be reluctant to start walking but once he gets going she walks on loose lead ignoreing passing cars and other dogs. Willow needs someone who is willing to meet her a few times to build a relationship. She is very food motivated and very obedient. She has a smooth coat and weighs 21.2kg.
Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.
Adult Home: Nervous or not tolerant of children. And/or too high a level of excitability for children to control.
Apartment Friendly: Could cope in an apartment environment. Regular walks or use of an artificial grass patch is suggested.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, microchipped, heartworm-free and with C5 vaccinations.
Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
