Princess Puss Puss Brackenwood
Quirky and lovable!
Female Domestic Medium Hair Cat
- Rescue group:
- Victorian Dog Rescue
- PetRescue ID:
This is our little (big) princess.
Princess Puss Puss is very reluctantly being passed on to us because of an allergic response by a new human family member. She has lived with us for eight months and as with all princesses She has special needs.
Puss Puss, before she became a princess lived like a pauper on the streets as a companion to a homeless man. Sadly, due to health issues she could no longer be with him, but as a result, she entered our own lives.
Puss is highly sensitive. She has sensory issues which cause reactiveness to noise or loud voices. She also has a very special attachment to food.
We do our very best to provide her with warm, safe spaces because sometimes she lacks proper social cues to be able to identify social situations. The Princess often needs her space. She also needs help to achieve a more healthy balance of socialisation, food wellness and the ability to understand loving gestures. She needs a home that can provide a snuggly bed, and patience and food would be very welcome. Puss needs a home with adults.
If you love cats and can rise to the challenge of helping this cat on her journey to a healthy and fulfilled lifestyle- you will surely be rewarded in kind.

Victorian Dog Rescue has a six-week full refund policy and a lifetime takeback guarantee that includes 50 per cent of the adoption fee refunded.
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
