Red is one of the most loyal and intelligent dogs I have met, he is a 9 month old playful and loving pup!
He arrived to us on a Sunday from a pound across the state, by Monday he was able sit, shake and drop!!
He walks well on the lead, sitting at each road without a command.
He gets along with our bulldog and foxie with no issues at all, he knows that the foxie doesn't like playing and therefore does not attempt to bother her, as with other older dogs he has met. He has grown close with our male bulldog and the two are in love, forever sleeping and playing together.
I even catch Red under the bed having a nap with our grumpy fat cat!
Red follows me around the house constantly looking for approval to know he is doing the right thing, he sleeps on my feet and when he is lucky he comes in the bed for a snuggle.
He eats and drinks very well and loves a big bone to chew and does not have a problem with sharing.
Behaves well at the vet, although excitable with the smells and noises, he was a very good boy.
He gets excited going in the car but calms quickly.
Red tolerates the bath and sits there sulking until it's time to get dry - which he LOVES!
Red has had a couple of play dates with his friend who is a border collie, Red goes off the leash and follows his friend around while he chases the ball - Red is only interested in toys if another pet is willing to play with him with the toy, otherwise he leaves the toy alone.
Red comes at every command although is still a tiny bit unsure of his name and will sometimes respond better to a whistle.
Red has done well with my dad who is an older frail man and was very gentle with him, as was he with my young nephew.
Red is a great dog and I think would adapt to most homes wether it with a family or not - anyone would be lucky to have this lovely soft Red pup.
