Interstate adoption (ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, WA)
Has received heartworm preventative
Duke is such a sweet, well-behaved boy. I am confident that whoever comes to meet him will fall in love with him. Duke is quiet and affectionate in his foster home, lapping up any praise and cuddles that are offered. He is loyal and devoted.
Duke has a wonderful calm and sweet nature. He is friendly with people and dogs. He has not been tested with cats, but shows no interest in chasing other animals.
He is well-behaved indoors and we would like him to go to a home where he is allowed inside and is included in the day to day activities of the home. He has low-moderate energy levels and is not yappy or destructive. He is toilet trained and sleeps quietly inside the home during the night. He seeks comfort from being close to you, but is not demanding. He travels well in the car already but is becoming increasingly relaxed with it.
Duke would benefit from some confidence building, so he will flourish in a home that are able to show him love, kindness and gentle encouragement.
He would be a wonderful companion for a family or single person. He would even be suited to a novice dog owner, as long as they are willing to give him the love and stimulation he needs to nurture his confidence.
He is quick to learn and already has some basic training skills.
Duke is truly a joy to be with. Whoever adopts him will be a lucky person.
If you are interested in adopting Duke, please email me some details about your circumstances and what Duke's typical day would be if you were to adopt him. Please include information about whether you have other animals/pets; who lives in the household; what your lifestyle is etc. Duke is fostered in our home at Bulli (north of Wollongong). Suitable adopters are welcome to come and meet him or I am willing to travel a reasonable distance for a person who is seriously interested in meeting Duke.
