Happy, full-of-beans girl
Medium Female Red Heeler Mix Dog

All the volunteer walkers at the shelter LOVE walking this happy girl. Sheba is good on the lead, sits on command and is always very keen to go walkies. True to the working dog breeds, she has bundles of energy. Even though she’s seven years old, Sheba’s always up for a game of ball or a run around the yard. And her absolute favourite play thing is water. Give her a bucket, or a paddling pool, or a hose and she’ll play like a puppy.
As she’s such a bouncy full-of-beans girl, she would suit an active family with older children and a home where someone can be with her for most of the day. Or, if you need a PA, she’ll happily come to work with you. Sheba’s really not keen on other furry beings, so will need to be your one and only pet. But she’ll fill your home with smiles and love!
And just check out that cute head tilt! How could you resist?
If you’d like to call in and say hello to Sheba, the APS refuge is open seven days a week from 10am to 3pm. 27 Talbot Road, Southern River (off Ranford Road).
All APS dogs are sterilised, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed and given a vet health care check, all of which is included in the adoption cost.
Visit the Refuge, speak with the Carer of the day. If you are approved to adopt one of our cats or dogs the process will then be taken further.
An inspection of your home and premises will take place prior to any adoption of APS dogs and puppies.
