About Evie
Hi my name is Evie and I'm a pretty special cat! I started my life on the streets and then did a stint in the pound where I gave birth to 4 kittens, luckily I was rescued before my time at the pound was up and now I live at a rescue shelter in Camden. My kittens have all found homes of their own but I'm still looking for the purrrfect family.
I'm a quiet, no-fuss, low maintenance kittyand we can co-exist without you needing to do much at all for me (just keep my litter clean and top up my cat biscuits). I won't cry for breakfast or try to sleep on your computer when you're typing. In fact my favorite activities are generally human-free like sunbathing on window sills and bird watching. You can take all the cute instagram photos of me you like though! I have pawsome colouring/markings.
I'm not a huge fan of cuddles just yet, and I need a home that understands I'm pretty shy at first and often need my own space. In time though I could warm up to people and I love other cats. I follow around the other cats at the shelter, grooming and smooching them. I'm also good with rabbits and small dogs.
Are you that special home who wants a low maintenance, undemanding cat who can keep themselves entertained?
Adoption details
Please note at this time pending legal advice we are unable to offer fox kit adoption to private owners.
Adopting a cat kitten from Sydney Fox Rescue is essentially a three step process:
1. Fill out an adoption form and send it back to us with an email outlining anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our cats are indoor cats only, and should be outdoors only in an approved cat enclosure. We work hard to take these guys off the street and offer them a lifetime of care and comfort. The average outdoor cat lives to only 4 compared to 13 for indoor cats.
2. Come along to meet us and our kittens at our Blacktown shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you.
3. Before you can pick up your new kitten you need to prepare, this includes: paying your adoption fee, setting up a bed, toys and scratching post and stocking up on kitten food. Ask us about a shopping list for your new family member.
