About Lily-Pilly
Hi I'm Lilly-Pilly I'm a playful, fun loving calico searching for a family to call my own. I'm an incredibly out-going social little lady. I'm everyone's favorite at the shelter and the volunteers here often say I'm a lot like a puppy- I love cuddles and will follow you around, playing toys is my favorite thing to do (especially string)!
I enjoy the company of other cats and people and I would be great in a quiet or busy home, with children, other cats and/or small dogs.
I have a short low maintenance coat and don't shed much at all.
There is one thing about me that's a bit special- I'm not good at using my litter, despite the best efforts of shelter staff I still have accidents and I like my litter to be very clean or I won't use it. I've been to the vets and they don't think it's related to anxiety because I'm such a happy go-lucky kitty, I'm just a bit special. I would be best suited to a family willing to work on my litter training or even someone with an outside cat enclosure.
Adoption details
Please note at this time pending legal advice we are unable to offer fox kit adoption to private owners.
Adopting a cat kitten from Sydney Fox Rescue is essentially a three step process:
1. Fill out an adoption form and send it back to us with an email outlining anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our cats are indoor cats only, and should be outdoors only in an approved cat enclosure. We work hard to take these guys off the street and offer them a lifetime of care and comfort. The average outdoor cat lives to only 4 compared to 13 for indoor cats.
2. Come along to meet us and our kittens at our Blacktown shelter or their foster carers home and let us find the right furry family member for you.
3. Before you can pick up your new kitten you need to prepare, this includes: paying your adoption fee, setting up a bed, toys and scratching post and stocking up on kitten food. Ask us about a shopping list for your new family member.
