About Molly
Good golly Miss Molly you are divine!
Molly's previous owner found himself going through a difficult time in his life and was not coping and thought his only choice was to let Molly go...have her put to sleep.
At times like that we don't think straight but thankfully family members were able to step in and let him know that there were other options for Molly, that's when they contacted us for help.
Molly is a beautiful old soul, a gentle girl who bothers no one. She's happy to have a warm bed to sleep in and let everyone go about their business without interferring.
She likes to feel the grass under her feet and has been known to run out the front door but returns within 10 mins once she's had her fix of the grass beteen her toes, for this reason she would be best suited to a home with an enclosed outdoor area whilst still having access to the indoors.
She's happy to share your bed with you and will greet you in the mornings with a meow and wait patiently for her morning cuddles and pats.
Molly is happy to share her home with another cat that is not dominant as the dominant cats seem to like to pick on her a little.
She would be well suited to a home with older children and would make a lovely companion for a senior.
She's independant and not one to rely on human affection so is fine being left on her own through the day.
She's socialised with dogs as well and wouldn't mind the company of one in her home.
Miss Molly really is a perfect all round cat.
Molly is desexed, vaccinated and micro chipped as well as testing negative to FeLV and FIV.
She's located in Mt Druitt

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
1. Contact us via email or phone for more information on the cat your are interested in.
2. Head to our website www.butterflywingsanimalrescue.org and fill out our adoption application. When submitted it will be sent to us to review.
3. Once we have reviewed your application, we will contact you and let you know if you are successful or not. Remember, we may say you are unsuccessful for that particular cat as it may not be suited to your home, in which case we will suggest others that may interest you.
4. If successful, a meet will be organised between you, your family and the cat.
5. If the meet is successful we can go one of two ways:
All remaining vetwork will be done and a time will be organised to bring the cat to you. A holding fee of 50% will be required. Upon drop off a adoption agreement and Change of Ownership will be filled out by yourself and the remaining adoption fee will be collected.
OR
If all vetwork is already completed you can take the cat home at the time of the meet, the adoption agreement will need to be filled out and the entire adoption fee will be collected. We will then organise a time to come out to your house to visit the cat and to finish finalising all paperwork.
There is a 2-4 week trial period with all our adoptions. This is to give the cat time to settle in and show its true personality to its new family. It also gives you a chance to see if the cat is really what you are after. If the trial is unsuccessful, we will pick up the cat and issue a full refund. If the trial is successful we will finalise the adoption according to point 5.
