Pound Cats | Pixie & Dixie **** Love Children!
Looking for love
Female Domestic Short Hair Cat
- Rescue group:
- Pound Cats
- PetRescue ID:
- New South Wales
Two gorgeous friendly girls.
Both Pixie and Dixie love children. They were rehomed a few months ago to a family with three young girls. Sadly Pixie and Dixie had to be returned due to some family problems. The family were devastated to have to return Pixie & Dixie.
Pixie & Dixie are used to sleeping in beds and they even tolerate being washed and towel dried! They are used to a busy household and would fit in perfectly with a family.
They will only be rehomed as a pair. They are bonded sisters who get along so well. I am told Pixie is the adventurer and Dixie is the snuggler.
Pixie & Dixie are looking for a safe INDOOR home or a home that has a cat enclosure they cannot escape from.
Both girls are healthy, eating well and 100% litter trained.

Both girls have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated (they have had 2 vaccinations and are not due again until Feb 2016), wormed, flea treated and vet checked.
Both girls have always been fed a premium food diet and fresh human grade raw meat. They have soft silky coats and are the perfect weight.
STEP 1: Send us an email with some details about the home you can offer. We like to match people to animals so the result is a happy home for life for owner and animal. Accordingly, as we already know the cat, we want to understand what you believe you can bring to the relationship. Please include a contact telephone number in your email, including, if necessary, the time it may be most convenient for us to contact you.
STEP 2: We will give you a call to discuss the animal. The person calling you will be a Pound Cat Adoptions coordinator, or the cat's foster carer.
STEP 3: If all sounds great and we both think it would be a good match for you, then we usually come and visit you in your home for a meet and greet. We put a lot of time into our cats and like to be certain they will live in a safe environment, so we do like to see their potential new home and to meet your other family members.
STEP 4: If we all agree that it is a good match then an adoption can take place.
STEP 5: We do offer a trial period of 2 weeks, which can be extended if necessary. \ If it becomes clear the relationship will not work, we are very happy to take the cat back and will return the majority of the adoption fee, unless you want to try again with a different cat. We want to ensure that the cat is happy and so are you, and understand that sometimes things do not work out. In those circumstances, we want the cat back - we do not want it to end up in another pound environment! We help where we can by providing advice on care of the animal as best we can but will refer you to vets for any health issues.
All our animals will be desexed, vaccinated (at least 1st F3), microchipped and their worming and flea treatments will be up to date. Some are also life time registered for NSW.
