About Gimli (mix of Norwegian Forest)
Reowwwww! How Exotic! With a mix of black Norwegian Forest genes, Gimli is a long hair male with a thick lush coat of warm black fur tipped with grey.
He has a beautiful mane which gives him a very regal appearance.
If you're after a gorgeous black man in your life, this little man is the one for you!
He is a very affectionate boy and lately his habits have developed to find you in bed, give you a sniff and kiss on your nose before he settles to sleep on your chest.
Gimli has been in care since the start of January.

He was rescued as a stray kitten with injuries on his hind legs. These were a burn wound on one leg and a fracture on the other - probably caught in a mouse trap then hurt by someone before he managed to escape.
This demonstrates he is a fighter in life and determined to survive the cruelty thrown at him. Just like Gimli the dwarf warrior from Lord of the Rings.
He managed to elude my attempts to catch him as well, while running around with injuries. He climbed up bottle brush trees to escape my reach.
As I managed to catch his mummy, Galadriel, he hung around wanting to be reunited with her and one night was my lucky night to get them reunited.
Once in care and being treated for his injuries, he has become very tame and is actually sitting next to my laptop, watching as I write up his profile :)
Gimli has been having fun playing with my other cats and another kitten called Squeaky.
He likes to leap from scratching post to post, like a little monkey from tree to tree.
When he has exhausted his energy he can flop out for a few hours of sleep on the couch or bed, snuggled up next to his mum Galadriel.
