About Flo
This is lovely Flo. She came to us from the pound in a terrible condition and with an awful ear infection. Thanks to her foster family, Flo’s now happy healthy and ready for to find her forever home.
This is what Flo’s foster carer has learnt since taking her in:
- Flo has proved herself lovely with children and she loves to cuddle into them – she’s currently living with a 10 and 13 year old.
- She is timid around new people – especially men. Once she gets to know you, Flo comes out of her shell and is very affectionate.
- She’s obedient, clever and eager to please. Since going into foster care, Flo learnt quite a few new commands.
- Flo is an excellent watchdog and will bark to let you know when someone has come to the gate.
- It seems Flo was kept in a small yard with no grass and had never been to the beach.
- Flo enjoys all time spent with people. She loves car rides, walking the children to school and outings to the beach, where she is quite dog-social and generally friendly.
Flo has the potential to live in a two-dog home and introductions can be organized at K9 Rescue. She would prefer to be in a home where she can snuggle up in your bed at night.
Flo has the most loyal and affectionate nature. She could make the most beautiful companion or addition to any home. Men will need to be patient and gentle with Flo and not tower over her until she gets to know them. Because her breed is prone to small ear canals, Flo will need an ear wash twice a week.
Date in kennels: 26th September 2014
