About Tally *With Video!*
This girl is all about joy, despite her rough start and being constantly overlooked. With big loving eyes, a wiggly bum, and not knowing how big she is, she's just about the most adorable pup ever at only 5 months old. She was rescued from the pound mere minutes before she was due to be put to sleep, and is now safe in foster care while she waits for her forever home.
Tally has been learning her commands well, and is very driven by affection and toy rewards. She walks well on the lead, as she's likes staying by your side or having her nose to the ground. The more time she spends with people, the happier she is. She didn't quite understand the concept of fetch, but now she absolutely loves it, although after about 10 throws her energy fades! She's not possessive of her toys or food in any way, and will gladly let you take either of them away from her. She has been trained to sit and stay for her food, and to release toys on command. She also knows her shake command well.
Give her a dog to play with, and she'll drain both her own and her buddy's energy. She doesn't quite understand how big she is, and so a medium or large dog would be preferable over a smaller dog. She gets along well with the kittens also in foster care. She LOVES car rides. She adores children, and due to her size she'd do best in a family with children over 10 years old, and it would be amazing to see her go to someone dedicated to spending time with her. Any love she receives is given back 10 fold.
Her adoption fee covers her vet work, as she will come vaccinated, microchipped, desexed and flea/worm treated. If you think you could offer a super home for a super dog, please contact her foster carer to arrange a meet and greet!
Adoption details
If one of our gorgeous animals in care has stolen your heart please contact us to arrange a time to meet him or her. Each carer has their own application in addition to the standard application form. We want to make sure that you and the animal you have selected are perfect for each other and that you will be able to have a life time of memories with your new family member.
Meet and greets are often followed by a short trial period in which you get to know the animal in your home. Support is available, if needed, during this adjustment period.
