About Buster
We think this guy is one in a million, he sits, drops, fetches and comes when called. His nature is that of a typical Labrador, loves people, praise, a scratch and a cuddle except he has an amazing calmness about him.
He gets excited when he sees you and then is happy to curl up at your feet. He has met a few dogs, big and small, male and female and he is not really interested. He has met a couple of cats and some chickens too and had no interest in them either.
Buster is toilet trained, waits for his food, gives up his bones and I have heard him bark twice to alert me to people at the rear of the property (he has been staying on a 4 acre property with 1000 acres farm at the rear so people are rare). With a single 'quiet', there was no more barking.
He has a big head and broad chest but is the height of a large Labrador. He weighs around 36kg.
Being such a big dog he has been thoroughly assessed by our rescue group which includes a professional dog trainer.
If you are looking for a big calm dog who will love you till his last breath, are willing to make him part of your family and give him lots of love, exercise and company, then this guy is for you.
