About Della
Della has had a bit of a rough trot. She has been living with AWL for the last 10 of her short 17 month life and the time has come that a rescue group has made room for her to find her forever home!
Della is just a beautiful girl. She was a little nervous at first coming into her foster home as it was very different to her usual routine, but after a couple of days of pure excitement by having new foster siblings to play with all the time, she settled in very nicely and is learning the basics of being part of a family.
Della is currently living with 7 other dogs that range from chihuahua to labrador size and she gets along famously with all of them. She would suit a home with another dog or just on her own, she's very easy to please.
Della is an absolute dream to walk on the lead as well. She doesn't pull at all even if there's other dogs about, she's just happy going for a wonder around sniffing. She also knows how to play fetch, which she loves, and she'll bring it back to you.
Della is fully housetrained and knows her basic commands. She comes microchipped, fully vaccinated, desexed, wormed, flea treated and treated for heart worm.
Della loves being in a home environment now. She's quite content to just chill with her humans and go for a wonder down to the beach or park sometime during the day. She would make a great addition to any household as the ideal companion.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Della is located on the Central Coast of NSW where she lives with her foster family.

Please contact Cathy via email only should you wish to meet Della. Email will ensure a faster response.
If enquiring about Della, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog/pup may be suitable for you. Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
