About Milo
This is a rare opportunity. Two well adjusted, happy, gentle and affectionate dogs who will keep each other company if you work during the day.
Milo and Oscar have a strong bond and need to stay together. Both are EXCELLENT around young children, other dogs and strangers. They are friendly, untroubled and gentle.
Both love the beach but Milo will actually swim in above his head, especially if there is a ball to fetch. Oscar will go in, but only to follow his mate.
Oscar will play fetch with the ball all day if he can. They both love going for walks and are fine on lead - but they will come when called if you let them off too.
If you work during the day the dogs will entertain themselves, playing and sleeping. But if they are separated they will fret and possibly be destructive.
We would prefer the dogs have company during at least some of the day because they are extremely loving and affectionate. They are not demanding but simply LOVE pats, cuddles and attention.
They need to be a central part of your world so if you have a busy life with lots of distractions they will not suit you.
They need moderate exercise and regular grooming. Both are obedient and easy to handle.
They cannot be separated.
You can find an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form on
We will then put you in touch with the dogs to see how you all get on.
Adoption details
We strongly recommend you read the dogs' profile carefully as everything we know about the dog/s is listed.
If you are interested in a dog we invite you to submit an application form so we can learn more about your circumstances. This is to ensure we match the right dog to the best home. (one form per family - not per dog) http://www.dogadoption.org.au/adoption---expression-of-interest.html
This is for the benefit of both the dog and the potential new owner/s. It also saves time and uses limited resources more effectively.
Once the essential criteria is confirmed we put you in touch with the carer for a more detailed chat with a view of meeting the dog/s.
If you decide to proceed with the adoption we make a time for a house check.
The adoption fee is then paid (there is a 2 week cooling off period.) Please note we do not usually allow trials.
Foster carers are also able to adopt foster dogs once approved.
