About Brandy
INTERSTATE ADOPTION WILL BE ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS
Approx. 8 years old
Brandy is a Cairn terrier mix girl approx. 8 years old. She is a sweet girl who is good around other dogs. She loves to run, and her favourite thing is to play chasey at a super-fast pace – those long legs come in handy.
Brandy loves people once she has gotten to know them, and she will sit with them for cuddles for as long as you want. She will be wary at first due to her early experiences with life, but she will very quickly warm to you and once that happens she is very affectionate. She is inquisitive and attentive, and has proven easy to train. She loves her bushwalks and is great in the car, but she is also content to just chill out.
She is house trained, letting you know if she needs to go out, and she sleeps through the night. Brandy does like to be part of the family and know what is going on – she loves sleeping in her dog bed watching what you are doing.
As Brandy had a companion in her last home for 5 years she cannot be an only dog alone all day in a back yard she would just be beside herself, and it is a very lonely existence for her, she must have another dog around her size and age would be ideal.
I would love to see her in a home with another active small/medium dog with plenty of yard to run around and play in, a retired couple still active and social who live by the sea so she gets to run along the beach, and live by the sea or by a lake.

Adoption details
To enquire about a dog in foster care please email the foster carer in the first instance (using the contact details listed with the dog's description).
The foster carer needs to know about you, your family, and any other pets, about your lifestyle and accommodation, and about the type of dog you want, so that they can help work out if the dog you have selected is right for you.
For dogs, foster carers will also carry out a 'home check' where we look at fencing and shelter for the dog to make sure they are adequate, and advise on anything that needs to be done to make sure your dog will be safe and comfortable.
